Welcome to my personal website and creative hub!
I’m Anthony Errington.
I’m a software engineer, teacher and improvisor with a passion for exploring and nurturing creativity in all its forms.
For example:
Since 2020 I’ve been upcycling tatty vintage comics and annuals into beautiful wall art and one-of-a-kind greeting cards.
I periodically restock my Etsy Shop with my latest creations.
Solve a curated daily Haiku puzzle by rearranging the scrambled words into their correct poetic form.
Play a random haiku puzzle from the collection.
Compose your own beautiful haiku, assisted by live syllable counting as you type, and share your creations with friends.
You can play here.
Holy Unexpected is an exhibition I curated in 2017 exploring the lives of eight men and women from the British Isles who illuminated unusual or unexpected angles on the concept of a life of ‘holiness’.
The exhibition featured beautiful contemporary takes on the ancient concept of stained glass representations of saints, along with a 40 minute film structured as an imagined dialogue between the journalist and writer G.K. Chesterton and the 14th century mystic Julian of Norwich, two of the individuals featured in the exhibition.
You can watch the video and peruse the images and text here.
I run a podcast called Creative Rehab where I talk with guests about Creativity, lost and (re)found.
In some episodes we also delve into the art of Improvisation and Improv Comedy and explore what makes it so fun, freeing and fantastical.
Episodes are added regularly and can be found on Spotify, Apple and YouTube.

What is Improv? It’s the art of unplanned, unscripted theatre where we create stories in the moment. It might look like magic, but we’re actually following simple and accessible principles…
I perform regularly with as part of an ensemble with the Awkward Actors and with Amelia Monks as the Duo “Small talk, Big feelings”. If you’re in the Oxford area, you should definitely come and watch us!
Improv is not just about performing - it can also be a great way of building confidence and life skills. I teach the foundations of Improv as a member of the faculty for the Improv in 6 Acts course.
I’ve written here about the applicability of Improv to many spheres of life beyond the stage.
